GLAMOUR + AUDAX = GLAUDAX
Audax: for cyclists wanting to ride 200~300+ km/day, sleep in a village hall or bus shelter and carry their own luggage. It's more basic and a lot harder, also known as type 2 fun!
Glaudax: for cyclists who prefer much shorter daily distances and who like to change for dinner, sleep in a hotel at night and have their luggage carried for them. We guarantee no bus shelters!
NB: our organisations are not linked.
We are Richard and Tony Evans, brothers and keen cyclists – you can read a bit more about us here. We established Glaudax Cycle Tours with a view to providing longer distance cycle touring than those offered by most other operators. Our inaugural Snowdonia tour was offered several times in 2021, and each year since then we've added new tours in the UK, France and Belgium. We run Glaudax entirely between ourselves and we accompany every tour in person – we hope to welcome you on one of them soon!
Our UK cycle tours start and finish in Aldbury, near Tring in Hertfordshire. The Brittany and Normandy tours start and finish in Portsmouth. The Flanders tour starts and finishes in Dover.
Maximum group size is just 12 riders, with two domestiques to look after you and transfer your luggage. For more details see our tours pages and please don't hesitate to contact us if you cannot find the information you are looking for or if you have any questions.
Tailor-made tours
If you would like us to arrange a tour for your group, please contact us to discuss your requirements. It could be one of our current tours or one of our archived tours on dates to suit you or we could design a completely different tour to suit your needs.
